At Yorkshire Photo Restoration we go the extra mile to ensure the styling and colour, etc, match the era of the photo as close as possible. This could mean researching specific styles of clothes, or a particular building to make sure the colourised photo looks as true to life as possible. We will work with you to ensure your precious memories of friends, family members, loved ones and holidays come back to life in glorious full colour.

The average price for a photo colourisation project is around £60, sometimes less, quite often a lot more. It depends how complex the photo is, how much it's damaged, what type of paper and some other variables.

Price includes the print.

Any light restoration work required before the colourising process can take place will be included in your quote. If the image requires heavy restoration we will inform you via your quote.

You're welcome to send your own scans, but for us to achieve the utmost quality it is recommended you send your photos, negatives or slides to the address provided.

Step 3: Colourise

Prints, digital copies and enlargements are available on request. (enlargements are subject to image quality)

Return postage costs for any physical submissions will be included in your quote.

If sending hard copies please ensure you use Special Delivery and send securely in a hard back envelope.

Please do not send anything in the mail until we've contacted you to discuss your order

Your originals, negatives and/or slides will be sent back to you with your colourised photo.

Please note Yorkshire Photo Restoration cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your items whilst in transit, please ensure you pack securely and are happy with the postal service you choose.

All packages consist of light restoration work and colourisation. Prices range start at £30 for standard size photos (either from slide/negative or up to roughly A4 sized print), larger formats and photos with heavy damage will be priced accordingly.

Retouching, artistic processing and other extras are available.
