I've always enjoyed going out to do landscape photography, despite not getting much chance over recent years. That said, I haven't always been drawn to Landscape photos. Over the years I mostly favoured 'gritty' city scenes, macro or taking photos of people, but more recently I have found myself enjoying landscape photography a lot more, both as a photographer and viewer.
It is pretty tiring sometimes getting to where you want to be and planning to be there around the light. But once you're there it can be so serene watching the sun come up/disappear. With just you and your camera you can ignore everything else and take your time until you move on.
This is definitely something I intend on doing a lot more of once Covid settles and work picks back up.
