Want to learn how to take great photos?
We have a range of 1-2-1 photography tuition packages to suit beginner to intermediate levels covering photography and image processing .
We'll take a look at photography from the mechanical, technical approach of how your camera works but also what goes on behind the camera and why we see the way we do, why images work and why they don't, what the difference between a photographer's work and a snapshot is. We'll learn why we take photos, how they're used and what you can do with them.
Our aim is not to seperate the technical guff from the spiritual; you won't turn into a gear head and you won't end up claiming to only shoot natural light, at the end you'll understand how embracing both elements of photography gives YOU the control you need to produce consistently good images. No longer will you be slave to "seeing how out it comes out", you'll understand why some shots work and why they don't BEFORE you take them. You'll think critically and be able to reverse engineer other photographer's work.
Benefit from one-to-one contact with a professional creative photographer. Learn to make your camera and editing skills work for you. Auto, presets, cheesey filters, pah, you'll quoff at them in disgust once you unlock the potential of your own creative prowess combined with new found technical knowledge..
The complete beginner course. This covers the basics. At the end you'll feel more confident with your manual camera, have a basic understanding of the exposure triangle and some understanding of composition.
For those who've done some reading, know what aperture means and roughly how it works. You'll have taken quite a few photos, perhaps had some encouragement from family and friends but still shoot on Auto or some variation of. Shutter Speed seems scary.
You've a near full understanding of the exposure triangle and you're starting to envisage your end shot before you click the shutter. You still have many questions to ask.
